... is a nonprofit 501C3 applicant formed by several established Oregon healthcare and technology professionals.
They saw an opportunity to fill a potential gap in the healthcare technology development community and developed an organization focused on Digital Health and health care technology that could provide a collaborative “Inventor Space” with the specific equipment needed to accelerate product development within the unique intersection of Healthcare and Technology.
The conceptual framework for the HTC is centered around a tailored invention space acting as a Hub and Catalyst to accelerate health technology development within the state of Oregon, and beyond. The success of the “Inventor Space” will benefit the public, the private sector, and the state of Oregon by becoming a nexus for contributing to an improving landscape for the national healthcare ecosystem and beyond.
In 2019, the HTC kicked off a broad-based, state-funded feasibility study to validate and/or provide direction for the potential service models and future development of “Inventor Spaces” within Oregon. In early 2020, after much acclaim, the HTC presented its study to the State of Oregon and is currently assessing potential opportunities for implementing the study's recommendations.
